Pie-maker R-overjoyed at contract

Bakery Clayton Park has signed a deal to supply pies to Blackburn Rovers.
The Clayton-le-Moors firm’s products will be sold in Ewood Park’s kiosks, the Blues Bar, the Brew Room in the Oneroverstore, and in the new town centre outlet in Church Street. Clayton Park replaces Holland’s Pies, which supplied Rovers from 2005 until the end of last season.
Barry Thomas, managing director of Petre Road-based Clayton Park, said: "As the closest Premier League club to our bakery in Clayton-le-Moors, Rovers have been on our wish list for a number of years. We are delighted to have won this contract to supply our quality pies, bread and cakes to the club."
